Welcome to Little Bowden School of Dancing.

We are a small, family orientated dance school which has been established in the Market Harborough area for over 20 years. We take pride in our ability to cater for the individual and our 100% pass rate in entering students for RAD and IDTA examinations.

Aims

We aim to create a positive and encouraging environment in which to nurture the development of every student, inspiring them through a love of dance and movement. Whether you wish your child to be entered for examinations or to dance purely for pleasure, we offer a high standard of training in classical ballet, tap and theatre craft dance. Within the positive environment of the school, we aim to enhance the development of the whole child so that not only do the students gain in technical aspects such as strength, balance, flexibility and co-ordination, but also benefit from increased confidence which they can carry through into all walks of life.

While some of our students have gone on to full-time training with organisations such as Rambert, Northern Contemporary or university degree courses in dance, in order to pursue careers in dance, others find great enjoyment through their dancing while maintaining fitness and having fun.

All students also have opportunities to perform for audiences of family and friends at the school concerts and open days.
